Position Summary: Ensure quality, consistency, and conformity of color, yarns, and trims through technical verification, testing, and recordkeeping. Key Highlights: 1. Technical verification of production materials and components. 2. Execution of quality tests and domestic trials. 3. Development of standards and maintenance of reliable records. **Position Mission:** Ensure the quality, consistency, and conformity of color, yarns, and trims used in production through technical verification, test execution, standard development, and reliable recordkeeping—guaranteeing that materials meet company and customer requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** * Receive, classify, and verify yarn samples (industrial and artisanal) against the color card or approved standard. * Prepare swatches and conduct wash tests, recording results on Color Range and Color Approval forms. * Inspect trims delivered by Logistics according to the AQL table and Purchase Order specifications. * Verify that trims and materials comply with their approved standards, record results, and perform additional tests when necessary. * Conduct domestic trials (e.g., washing, rubbing, appearance, mesh length) for yarns and trims, recording results and reporting deviations. * Prepare color cards, swatches, and samples for customers and the Commercial Department according to seasonal needs. * Receive, review, and evaluate returns of raw materials supplied to knitters for control and analysis. * Take photographs of materials, yarns, and trims to update catalogs in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
