Position Summary: Food Engineering or related field professional with 3 years of experience in quality and food safety, responsible for managing systems, auditing processes and suppliers, and ensuring standards across the food industry. Key Highlights: 1. Manages food quality and safety systems. 2. Conducts internal and supplier audits for continuous improvement. 3. Ensures compliance with standards from raw materials to finished product. Job Description: PROFILE * Professional in Food Engineering, Food Industries, Agroindustrial Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in food sector companies, in quality and food safety. * Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, internal audits, document control, nonconformance management, and continuous improvement. * Experience in supplier evaluation, process control, customer complaints, and action plan follow-up. * Familiarity with procedures before VUCE and DIGESA, technical specifications, pest control, and disinfection. * Ability to train personnel and coordinate with Production, Commercial, suppliers, and General Management. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems. * Availability to perform duties 50% at plant and 50% in office. * Competencies: leadership, organization, technical judgment, effective communication, analytical ability, follow-up, and results orientation. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1\. Maintain up-to-date manuals, procedures, work instructions, specifications, records, and other documents of the Quality and Food Safety System. 2\. Ensure that Quality Assurance Records are completed as required by applicable standards. 3\. Supervise the quality management process system. 4\. Verify procedures by establishing task sequences for work execution, identifying associated risks, defining actions to minimize such risks, and incorporating technological improvements, continuous improvement initiatives, and risk, environment, and quality regulations. 5\. Propose improvements to services and infrastructure across all company areas. 6\. Coordinate management of External/Internal Nonconformities, supervise implementation of Action Plans, conduct inspections for follow-up and verification of compliance. 7\. Conduct internal audits according to the company’s annual audit plan. 8\. Perform supplier audits for evaluation, selection, monitoring, and re-evaluation. 9\. Verify compliance with the company’s product quality standards, from receipt of raw materials and inputs through packaging. 10\. Review product Technical Specifications. 11\. Document management in VUCE – DIGESA. 12\. Manage pest control and disinfection services, including respective follow-up. 13\. Handle customer complaints related to food safety. 14\. Attend meetings with the Commercial Department to establish quality and food safety requirements for external suppliers. 15\. Identify specific training needs and conduct or request external training. 16\. Coordinate and keep the General Manager continuously informed about activities performed. 17\.
