Job Summary: Coordinate with the supervisor to operate crushing equipment and maintain the work area, ensuring production of crushed material in accordance with standards and safety procedures. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate crushing equipment in compliance with safety procedures 2. Reduce the size of the mineral and keep the feed hopper supplied 3. Inspect equipment and report substandard conditions JOB POSTING – CRUSHING OPERATOR Work Location: Americana Mining Unit – Casapalca Work Schedule: 14 days on / 7 days off Purpose of the Position: In coordination with the supervisor, carry out daily assigned tasks to produce crushed material in accordance with established standards. Main Responsibilities: * Operate crushing equipment in compliance with established safety procedures. * Reduce the size of the mineral accumulated in the coarse feed hopper by appropriately using crushing machinery and equipment. * Keep the feed hopper supplied and verify proper operation of equipment. * Conduct daily inspections of crushers, conveyor belts, guards, screens, and other components. * Identify and report substandard conditions, anomalies, and operational risks. * Maintain a clean and orderly work area. * Verify that crushers and conveyor belts are free of foreign materials prior to operation. * Perform equipment lubrication according to the preventive maintenance schedule. * Comply with mandatory use of PPE and safety procedures. Requirements: * Completed secondary education or technical-mechanical higher education. * Minimum 6 months of experience in industrial sectors, industrial warehouses, mining, or construction. * Ability to work under mining work schedules and at high altitude.
