Job Summary: We are seeking a technician for the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, with a focus on PVC pipes and hydraulic components. Key Responsibilities: 1. Installation and adjustment of irrigation emitters 2. Hydraulic testing and leak repair 3. Operation of pumping equipment and reading of drawings REQUIREMENTS: * Intermediate-level technician in irrigation, hydraulics, sanitary installations, agronomy, or related field; or equivalent verifiable experience. * Certification in irrigation system installation (desirable). * 5 years of experience installing PVC pipes and irrigation systems (preference given to experience in agricultural projects). * Experience in reading drawings, conducting hydraulic tests, and operating pumping equipment. * Residence in Ica (MANDATORY) RESPONSIBILITIES: * Read and interpret drawings, hydraulic schematics, and technical specifications. * Cut, assemble, and weld/glue PVC pipes and fittings (adhesives, cements, threads, sleeves). * Install and adjust emitters: sprinklers, drippers, microtubes, valves, filters, and controllers. * Conduct pressure and leak-tightness tests; detect and repair leaks. * Assemble and connect solenoid valves and actuators (basic level). * Excavate and backfill trenches, provide protection and conduit installation per standards. * Maintain inventory and control materials and tools. * Comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards on site. * Complete project quality, safety, and productivity record forms. Salary: S/.1,800.00 - S/.2,500.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
