Job Summary: Responsible for executing, controlling quality, and maintaining machinery in extrusion processes, ensuring compliance with specifications and procedures. Key Responsibilities: 1. Execution and control of production programs. 2. Responsibility for the extrusion process and quality verification. 3. Equipment maintenance and reporting. **SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** **I. General** 1\. Perform tasks according to the production schedule. 2\. Respect and ensure adherence to quantities specified in work orders. In case of deviations, coordinate with the supervisor/production manager/plant manager. 3\. Respect and ensure adherence to formulations specified in work orders; otherwise, coordinate with the supervisor/production manager. 4\. Responsible for the proper performance of assigned machines and/or tools used to execute a work order. Report any malfunctioning and/or deterioration of equipment to the supervisor/production manager/plant manager to initiate the appropriate maintenance request. 5\. Verify the availability of materials, additives, accessories, and all other items required to begin a work order. Notify the supervisor/production manager/plant manager in advance of any issues preventing the start of a work order. 6\. Maintain and ensure proper care of personal assigned equipment (uniforms, shoes, protective gear) to perform duties effectively. 7\. Responsible for the extrusion process of a work order. Must collect samples at the end of each roll or machine stoppage. Verify dimensions and properties of the film or sleeve according to specifications indicated in work orders. 8\. Record and ensure clear, legible handwriting for all data requested in work orders. 9\. Record and ensure the extrusion support logs the brand and code of materials being used in product manufacturing. If a material change occurs during extrusion, report in the work order (observations) the roll number where the material change took place. 10\. Sign process controls, confirming that the production sample meets the specification stated in the production standard and work order. Validation will be performed jointly with the production supervisor and quality assurance analyst. 11\. Comply with and ensure compliance with all procedures and instructions issued by superiors. 12\. Verify material balance (inflow and outflow) by recording the daily production report. 13\. Replace and be replaced by another machine operator during break times or any other event requiring absence. 14\. Maintain general cleanliness of the extruder (control panels, shafts, corona treater, and all extruder components). 15\. Handle machine parts and accessories correctly during job performance. 16\. Maintain cleanliness and order in the assigned work area. 17\. Prevent food safety hazards. 18\. Comply with the company’s implemented cleaning, hygiene, and sanitation procedures and instructions. 19\. Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices policies and procedures. **JOB PROFILE** **I.
