Negotiation and direct relationship with customers and internal departments. **Job Mission** Lead strategic planning and comprehensive management of nationwide operations, ensuring fulfillment of committed services to our customers, with a medium- and long-term business vision that complements and strengthens day-to-day operational management. This position serves as Operations’ visible representative to commercial departments and customers, guaranteeing that commitments made are realistic and sustainable for the team. **Main Responsibilities** * **Strategic planning:** Design, plan, and lead the national operations strategy aligned with the company’s commercial objectives. * **Team leadership:** Lead and develop the operations team—comprising the Operations Supervisor, Planning Assistant, and a field team of four technicians—strengthening their performance and growth. * **KPI management:** Establish and monitor KPIs for the technical office and operations. * **Resource control:** Develop, monitor, and optimize schedules, budgets, and resources assigned to lifting services and projects. * **Coordination with Administration:** Collaborate with the Administration department to ensure timely procurement of new tools, consumables, and travel allowances required for operations. * **Coordination with Commercial:** Serve as the direct liaison between Operations and the Commercial department, aligning capacity, timelines, and work priorities; and coordinate with Maintenance, Logistics, and SSOMA as required. * **Process optimization:** Redesign and standardize the operational planning process, and ensure timely delivery of management reports, eliminating current bottlenecks in the department. * **Continuous improvement:** Identify risks and opportunities for operational process improvement, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. * **Representation and advocacy for Operations:** Act as the primary spokesperson for the department toward Commercial and customers, negotiating realistic timelines and capacity while protecting the team from unfeasible commitments. * **Customer relationship management:** Coordinate directly with external customers on scheduling, scope, and execution of work, representing the company and conducting occasional nationwide visits as required. * **Business-oriented mindset:** Make decisions based on a holistic view of operations, anticipating issues before they impact service delivery. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mining Engineering, or related fields. * 3–5 years of experience in technical offices, planning, or operations—preferably in the lifting, mining, or industrial sectors. * Experience leading work teams. * Preferred: Specialization, diploma, or course in project management, strategic planning, or operations. * Proficiency in planning tools (MS Project, Advanced Excel, ERP). * Willingness to travel occasionally nationwide. **Key Competencies** * Strategic and business vision (ability to see “the forest,” not just “the trees”). * Leadership and team management. * Analytical ability and decision-making skills. * Results orientation. * Effective communication. * Proactivity and autonomy. * Assertiveness and negotiation skills with customers and other internal departments. * Strong alignment with a people-centered, integrity-driven, and service-oriented culture. * Understanding of B2B businesses and value-, quality-, and service-based differentiation strategies.
