Positive work environment. **Job Description:** Café París in Huancayo is looking for a highly motivated and gastronomy-passionate **Head Chef** to join our team and lead dish preparation for our customers. We seek an experienced cook with leadership skills who shares our commitment to delivering an exceptional culinary experience. **Responsibilities:** * Supervise and lead food preparation according to café standards. * Ensure all dishes meet high quality standards and are served according to recipes and scheduled times. * Manage ingredient inventory and place orders as needed. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and organization in the kitchen. * Coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth workflow. * Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations. * Monitor dish presentation before serving to customers. * Ensure proper use of kitchen equipment. * Perform any other kitchen-related tasks assigned. **Requirements:** * Minimum of **1 year** experience as a head chef or in a similar position. * Knowledge of preparing national and international dishes (preferred). * Ability to work effectively in teams and under pressure. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Commitment to quality and customer service. * Knowledge of and compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations. * Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM shift. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Technical or university studies in gastronomy. * Experience in high-volume kitchens or cafés/quick-service restaurants. * Knowledge of healthy cooking or special diets (optional). * Proactivity and creativity in developing new dishes or menus. **We Offer:** * Competitive salary. * Positive work environment. * Opportunities for career advancement within the company. * Continuous training.
