We are seeking a Warehouse Mechanic to join our team at Chinalco. In this role, you will be responsible for performing required assistance tasks in mechanical maintenance—including repair of equipment and components—and/or warehouse support, ensuring adherence to the Quality, Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management System guidelines. Your work will play a key role in ensuring our operations run safely, efficiently, and smoothly. You will report to the Site Resident. This position is located at Chinalco and may involve an atypical 14x7 work schedule. **What You’ll Do:** **Examples:** Perform welding tasks for basic preventive and corrective maintenance of general machinery and equipment. Maintain warehouses and all their components in an orderly, properly classified, and labeled manner. Track material and equipment inflows and outflows (using cardex and computerized database systems). Carry out basic preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electromechanical, and electropneumatic systems of general machinery. Fully or partially disassemble machinery or equipment, interpreting blueprints and catalogs for maintenance/repair. Repair or replace defective elements or parts of machinery and equipment. Conduct inventory of supplies and promptly communicate replenishment needs. Inspect equipment and tools, and coordinate their repair or disposal as required. **What You’ll Bring:** Experience in maintenance. Mandatory licenses and certifications, including \[list here].
