Job Summary: A professional in Accounting or Economics responsible for recording and supervising accounting transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and ensuring tax compliance. Compliance with tax and regulatory obligations Main Responsibilities: * Record and supervise all **accounting transactions** (revenues, expenses, purchases, sales, etc.). * Ensure records are **correctly classified** according to internal policies and accounting standards. * Maintain daily accounting ledgers and journals, and perform monthly closings. * **Reconcile accounts**, especially bank, supplier, and customer accounts. * Analyze month-to-month account balance variations. * Monitor provisions, depreciation, and other accounting adjustments. * **Prepare and submit financial statements**, such as balance sheets and income statements. * Prepare **management reports and analyses** for senior management. * Report on the company's financial status and key metrics. * Prepare and file **tax returns** and other tax-related documents. * Ensure **compliance with local and international tax and regulatory obligations** (e.g., IFRS). * Professional degree in Accounting or Economics. * Prior experience in general accounting and month-end/year-end closing. * Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS) and accounting/ERP tools.
