Negotiate and manage suppliers to optimize costs **PURCHASING MANAGER** **REQUIREMENTS:** Professional degree in Engineering, Administration, Economics or related fields. Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement roles within the mining or construction industry. (Annual procurement volume of $10 million USD) Knowledge of ERP procurement management systems, SAP. Knowledge of negotiation and contracting. Knowledge and management of supplier portfolios in Lima, Cusco, Arequipa, and Puno. Certifications in procurement or logistics: C.P.M., CSCP. Willingness to work in Challhuahuacho – Las Bambas / Apurímac Region. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Procurement Management: Lead the procurement process for materials and services for construction projects, ensuring optimal quality-to-price ratio and on-time delivery. Planning and Strategy: Develop and execute procurement plans aligned with project and corporate objectives. Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms for the company. Supplier Management: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and service standards. Cost Control: Monitor and control procurement costs, identifying opportunities for savings and optimization.
