They are responsible for the development, review, and supervision of architectural projects related to civil works, such as roads, bridges, and public and industrial buildings. The projects may be developed for external clients or for the company itself. **Candidate Requirements** ### **ACCIONA, within its Construction Business Line, requires the recruitment of an ARCHITECTURAL SPECIALIST** **contractual/binding** **to participate in a tender process for the Land-Side construction of an airport located in the Southern Andes.** **REQUIREMENTS** **Academic Qualifications:** * University graduate in Architecture. * Professional registration and licensure: Actively registered and licensed with the corresponding Professional Association of Peru. * Preferred: Master’s degree or specialization in Architectural Design, Project Management, Building Engineering, or related fields. * Language: Fluent English or Spanish (for personnel whose native language is neither Spanish nor English, valid language proficiency documentation must be submitted to demonstrate communication capability. Acceptable documentation includes: an advanced-level Spanish or English language certificate issued by a recognized language center). **Experience:** * Minimum 10 years of general professional experience since graduation or issuance of the corresponding diploma. * At least 7 years of experience in similar projects as an Architectural Specialist and/or Architect and/or Resident Architect and/or Design Manager and/or Specialized Supervisor and/or Discipline Leader and/or Project Leader and/or Architecture Coordinator or equivalent positions. * Experience in similar projects—i.e., complex buildings—with integrated execution of core architectural works, including planning, structural coordination, and development of interior and exterior finishes. **Location:** * Willingness and availability to reside and work in the city of Cusco for the duration of the project. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Develop, review, and validate architectural drawings, ensuring compliance with applicable national and international standards for airport design. * Coordinate integration of architectural design with structural, electromechanical, special installations, air traffic control systems, and other disciplines involved in project execution. * Supervise proper on-site execution of architectural works, ensuring fidelity to approved drawings, technical specifications, and operational safety standards specific to airport infrastructure. * Control and approve architectural finishes, considering functionality, ergonomics, aesthetics, durability, and regulatory compliance. * Issue periodic technical reports on progress and quality of architectural works, identifying deviations and proposing solutions that preserve overall design coherence.
