We are currently recruiting a PCM Maintenance Engineer to join our team and contribute to key projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for the transmission system. Manage oscillography data and protection device alarms; generate COMTRADE files. Manage maintenance of multi-brand relays. Analyze and evaluate system failures and operational performance. Calculate fault distances on concessioned power lines. Prepare failure reports and recommendations for the company’s and its customers’ installations. Read functional, logic, schematic, and secondary engineering drawings. Analyze events using software and simulations, such as DIgSILENT, PCM600, ENERVISTA, DIGSI, SIGRA, ATP\-EMTP, MATLAB, SCADA, SIO, fault recorders, and protective relays. Knowledge of IEC61850 standard. Maintain and manage the protective relay settings database and report area KPIs. Participate in developing the AECP (Asset Engineering Control Plan) and its subsequent implementation. Participate in field protection and control testing, and in designing and implementing specialized protection schemes. Perform and review coordination studies for the company’s and third-party protection systems. Update and maintain the settings database for protection, control, and measurement systems. Prepare protective relay, meter, and test set configuration files. Develop terms of reference for studies, procurement of supplies, and services related to protection, control, and measurement. Knowledge and operation of CMC356 \- CMC500 test sets. Other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor. Technical Skills and Knowledge Knowledge of Power Electrical Systems and Protection, Control, and Measurement Systems. Knowledge of asset and maintenance management (preventive, predictive, and corrective). Analysis of electrical variables in Power Electrical Systems. Continuous process improvement. Physical components of the electrical system. Secondary equipment of power substations. Electrical testing of secondary equipment in power substations. Power system analysis. Energy and electrical studies for interconnections. Proficiency in SAP\-PM or other maintenance management systems (desirable). Knowledge of technical and safety regulations applicable to the electrical sector. Experience in failure analysis and reliability (RCM, RCA desirable).
