Job Summary: We are seeking a Payroll Clerk - Timekeeper for a construction site to ensure accurate attendance tracking and payroll processing, guaranteeing compliance with labor regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Track and report staff working hours, absences, tardiness, and leave requests. 2. Manage documentation for onboarding and offboarding of personnel. 3. Archive and keep personnel files and payroll slips up to date. Job Description: We are looking for a **Payroll Clerk \- Timekeeper for Construction Site**, responsible and detail-oriented, to join our construction team. Your mission will be to ensure precise tracking of operational staff attendance and correct preparation of weekly/bi-weekly payroll, ensuring compliance with current labor regulations. **MUST RESIDE IN AREQUIPA** Main Responsibilities: * **Attendance Tracking:** Conduct daily roll calls at the construction site (morning and afternoon). * **Working Hours Recording:** Track and report regular hours, overtime, absences, tardiness, and leave requests. * **Onboarding and Offboarding Management:** Handle documentation for new hires (contracts, inductions) and separations (settlements). * **Document Management:** Archive and maintain up-to-date personnel files and records of payroll slip distribution. Requirements: * **Experience:** Minimum 1 year in similar roles within the construction sector or industrial projects. * **Knowledge:** Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level) and familiarity with labor legislation (Civil Construction Regime preferred). * **Skills:** Organizational ability, integrity, conflict resolution skills, and effective communication with field personnel. * **Availability:** Willingness to work directly at camp or construction site according to project schedule. * Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM; Saturdays, 7 AM to 1 PM **Benefits:** * Formal employment with all statutory benefits from day one.
