Ongoing training **We are looking for a Cook!** **Restaurant El Salto de Fraile** is seeking a **Cook** with passion for gastronomy, commitment to quality, and team-oriented mindset to join our kitchen team. **Main Responsibilities** * Prepare dishes according to recipes, quality standards, and established timeframes. * Perform proper mise en place before service begins. * Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices for Food Handling (GMP) and hygiene standards. * Maintain cleanliness and order at the workstation throughout the shift. * Monitor appropriate use of supplies to minimize waste and spoilage. * Verify product quality, freshness, and storage conditions. * Coordinate with the Chef and kitchen team to ensure efficient service. * Adhere to occupational safety and health procedures. * Assist with inventory and supply control when required. * Participate in kitchen area cleaning and closing procedures. **Position Profile** * Minimum **2 years** of experience as a Cook in restaurants. * Knowledge of Peruvian and international cuisine (desirable). * Proficiency in basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and cooking methods. * Familiarity with GMP and quality control. * Ability to work under pressure and collaboratively. * Responsible, organized, proactive, and committed. * Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. **Requirements** * Technical studies in Gastronomy (desirable). * Knowledge of portion control and recipe standardization. * Proper handling of kitchen equipment and utensils. * Personal transportation (Motorcycle, Bicycle, Scooter) **We Offer** * Formal employment registration under applicable labor regime. * Market-competitive remuneration. * Meals provided during working hours. * Ongoing training. * Excellent work environment. * Opportunity for professional growth.
