Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Equipment Assistant to handle inquiries, incidents, and failures; perform diagnostics; and conduct preventive equipment inspections. Key Responsibilities: 1. Handle customer inquiries and incidents. 2. Perform equipment diagnostics and preventive inspections. 3. Provide induction and training on the correct use of equipment. This is your opportunity to join our team **TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT ASSISTANT \- LIMA** Send your CV to **jdurand@tagacorp.com.pe** **Main Responsibilities:** * Respond directly and promptly to inquiries, incidents, and failure reports issued by buyers or end customers. * Conduct preliminary diagnostics (on-site or remote) to identify the root cause of failures and determine whether minor adjustments, spare part replacements, or escalation to a specialized workshop is required. * Support the product warranty process and coordinate repair or replacement logistics with the main technical department or supplier. * Perform preventive inspections, functional testing, and conditioning of commercial warehouse equipment prior to delivery or display. * Prepare and maintain up-to-date equipment life records, maintenance histories, and serial number logs for each sold or demonstration unit. * Support technical inspections of equipment at buyer locations when required. * Provide basic induction and training to medical staff or end users on proper usage, preventive care, and best conservation practices. * Deliver ongoing training on new products to the sales team. **Personal Characteristics (Competencies):** * Customer Orientation and Service Vocation. * Effective Communication. * Organization and Planning. * Teamwork. **Requirements:** * Graduate Technician or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or related fields. * Minimum 1–2 years of work experience in technical support, maintenance, after-sales, or technical services (preferably in medical device companies, distributors, or healthcare centers). * Ability to fluently read and interpret technical manuals, circuit diagrams, user guides, and communicate effectively with international manufacturers’ technical support teams. **Technical Knowledge:** * Calibration protocols, electrical safety tests, and commissioning procedures for medical devices. * Basic health and biosafety regulations applicable to handling and transporting medical equipment. **Computer Skills:** * Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Teams, Outlook. * Proficiency in videoconferencing platforms and commercial management systems. **Benefits:** * Market-competitive salary. * Positive work environment. * Ongoing training opportunities. * Statutory Life Insurance and other benefits. **Work Location: Lima** Join our family and grow with us! **\#apply, \#share, \#refer.** Salary: S/.1\.00 per month Application Question(s): * Please describe in detail your experience in this role: * Are you available to start immediately? * In the ophthalmology sector, what strategy do you apply to retain customers and increase sales?
