We are currently looking for **Kitchen Assistants** with knowledge and experience in: * Preparing **pasta and traditional Peruvian dishes**. * Performing daily *mise en place* before service begins (e.g., vegetable cutting, sauce preparation, station setup, etc.). * Keeping necessary supplies ready and organized throughout the shift. * Collaborating with the chef or cook on *final plating*, ensuring dishes meet Zarelle’s established presentation standards. * Verifying that portion sizes, temperature, and presentation comply with restaurant standards. * Assisting in the preparation of pasta, pizzas, grilled items, and traditional Peruvian dishes as directed by the head cook. * Maintaining clean, organized, and well-stocked workstations throughout the shift. * Inspecting ingredient quality and condition before use. * Storing products correctly, adhering to rotation principles (*FIFO*) and preservation guidelines. * Cleaning utensils, equipment, and surfaces upon task completion. * Complying with the restaurant’s hygiene and food safety protocols. * Cooperating with other team members to maintain an organized and efficient workplace. * Supporting additional tasks assigned by the kitchen manager or supervisor as needed during service.
