Our team in Peru is growing, and we are currently recruiting a Construction, Lead to join our Project Execution business line in our Lima office.
**About the Role:**
* Define and maintain the execution strategy, Project Execution Plan (PEP), governance framework, organizational structure, RACI matrix, and decision-making criteria.
* Integrate Engineering, Procurement, Construction, HSEC, Quality, Project Controls, Contracts, Pre-commissioning, and Operations.
* Lead phased planning (FEL/EPCM), establishing milestones, readiness gates, priorities, sequencing, interfaces, and critical deliverables.
* Ensure constructability, operability, and maintainability of solutions by promoting design reviews, workshops, and timely closure of observations.
* Manage scope, schedule, cost, risks, opportunities, changes, deviations, and contingencies, driving timely corrective actions.
* Direct procurement and execution strategy, evaluating work packages, contractor capability, productivity, logistics, and field constraints.
* Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and regional teams, managing agreements, escalations, and resolution of critical interfaces.
* Supervise team performance, assign priorities, develop capabilities, and ensure consistent quality and reporting standards.
* Promote lessons learned, continuous improvement, innovation, and benefit capture in safety, schedule, cost, and productivity.
* Implement Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) and Workface Planning, ensuring released CWP/IWP, closed constraints, and readiness.
* Coordinate inspections, QA/QC, punch lists, mechanical completion, dossiers, and progressive system handover.
* Manage risks, interfaces, changes, and deviations, communicating decisions and actions promptly to the project and client.
**About You:**
* Minimum 15 years of professional experience; at least 7 years in construction of mining, industrial, or heavy infrastructure projects. Prior experience in engineering consulting or related professional services is preferred.
* Licensed and registered engineer: Mechanical, Electrical-Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline.
* Desirable specialization in construction management, safety, contracts, and planning.
* Required technical knowledge:
+ End-to-end project lifecycle management: FEL, engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and close-out.
+ Project planning and control: scope, WBS, L1–L4 schedules, CAPEX, forecast, productivity, earned value, and deviation management.
+ Execution and procurement strategies (EPC/EPCM); contract administration, change management, claims, interfaces, and stakeholder management.
+ Constructability, AWP, Workface Planning, sequencing, readiness, logistics, temporary works, and system handover.
+ Risk and opportunity management, HSEC, quality, permits, sustainability, and operational continuity in greenfield and brownfield environments.
+ Familiarity with PMI, CII, AACE, FEL, Lean Construction, BIM 4D/5D, and applicable project and client regulations.
+ Multidisciplinary construction methods: earthworks, concrete, structures, mechanical erection, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and temporary works.
+ Planning and control: WBS, L3–L4 schedules, lookaheads, quantity take-offs, S-curves, productivity, forecast, and cost.
