This subfunction focuses on ensuring a sustainable environmental impact across all organizational activities. It includes: introducing continuous improvement guidelines to foster sustainable behavior; promoting the sustainable use of materials; raising employee awareness of environmental importance through ongoing training; communicating and reporting on the company’s environmental management, among other responsibilities. **Candidate Requirements** ### **ACCIONA, within its Construction Business Line, requires the recruitment of an ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER to participate in a tender process for the Ground Side construction of an airport located in the Southern Highlands.** ### **REQUIREMENTS** ### **Academic Qualifications:** * ### **University graduate with a degree in Environmental Engineering and/or related fields.** * ### **Language:** **Fluent English or Spanish (for personnel whose native language is neither Spanish nor English, valid language proficiency documentation must be submitted to demonstrate communication capability. Acceptable documentation includes: an advanced-level Spanish or English language certificate issued by a recognized language center)** ### **Experience:** * ### **Minimum 7 years of general professional experience since graduation or issuance of the corresponding diploma.** * ### **3 years of experience in similar projects as a specialist and/or team leader and/or engineer and/or responsible person in environmental matters, environmental impact assessment, environmental management, or related roles.** * ### **3 years of experience in Environmental Management Instruments (EMIs) applied to transportation sector construction projects, preferably airports.** ### **Location:** * ### **Willingness to reside and work in the city of Cusco for the duration of the project.** ### **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * ### **Plan and implement the project’s environmental management strategy.** * ### **Oversee compliance with current environmental regulations and applicable Environmental Management Instruments.** * ### **Identify environmental aspects, impacts, and risks associated with project activities.** * ### **Propose and implement preventive, control, mitigation, and corrective environmental measures.** * ### **Coordinate environmental monitoring, field inspections, and verifications.** * ### **Supervise management of solid waste, effluents, emissions, noise, and other environmental components.** * ### **Track project environmental permits, authorizations, and obligations.** * ### **Prepare environmental monitoring reports, records, minutes, and reports.** * ### **Respond to environmental observations, queries, or requirements from clients, authorities, and supervisors.** * ### **Coordinate with construction, safety, quality, and operations departments to ensure integrated environmental management.** ACCIONA has been awarded the Top Employer certification for 2024 and 2025.
