Train on traffic regulations and performance evaluation DUTIES OF A DRIVING INSTRUCTOR – VOLANTE SEGURO DRIVING SCHOOL **Position Objective:** Train, guide, and evaluate students in vehicle operation, ensuring practical, safe, responsible training aligned with current Peruvian traffic regulations. Main Responsibilities: * **Conduct practical driving lessons** * Teach safe and defensive driving techniques. * Guide students in proper vehicle control and operation. * Adapt instruction to each student’s learning level and pace. * **Train on traffic regulations** * Reinforce knowledge of and compliance with the National Traffic Regulation. * Explain road signage and road safety rules. * **Evaluate student performance** * Identify strengths and areas for improvement. * Inform students about their progress and readiness for the driving test. * **Ensure safety during practice sessions** * Continuously supervise student driving. * Properly use dual controls when necessary. * Prevent hazardous situations during lessons. * **Inspect the assigned vehicle** * Daily inspection of brakes, lights, tires, mirrors, and other safety components. * Promptly report any mechanical failure or defect. * **Maintain professional conduct** * Treat students with respect, patience, and courtesy. * Foster confidence and discipline throughout the learning process. * Maintain appropriate personal appearance. * **Adhere to class schedules** * Attend scheduled sessions punctually. * Accurately record attendance and lesson progress. * **Guide students through the license acquisition process** * Provide basic information on required examinations and documentation. * Motivate students to approach the driving test confidently and responsibly. * **Promote road safety culture** * Encourage responsible driving habits. * Promote respect for pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users. * **Comply with Volante Seguro internal policies** * Follow company operational and administrative procedures. * Safeguard company assets, vehicles, and institutional image.
