We are currently seeking an **Environmental Laboratory Assistant** **Academic Qualifications:** Technical and/or university degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related fields. **Experience:** Minimum one year of experience performing duties similar to those described in this position. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** · Perform physicochemical tests according to established test methods and procedures. · Prepare reagents, standard solutions, and materials required for analysis. · Operate and verify basic functionality of assigned laboratory equipment. · Record results and activities in corresponding forms and systems. · Comply with established quality controls for each test. · Maintain order, cleanliness, and proper storage of equipment, materials, and work areas. · Provide technical and operational support to the laboratory as required. **KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:** · Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) · Preparation and handling of chemical reagents · Operation of laboratory equipment for physicochemical testing · Quality Management System (ISO/IEC 17025) (desirable) · Safety, occupational health, and waste management regulations (desirable) **BENEFITS:** · Enrollment in the General Payroll Regime from the first day of employment · CTS at 100% · Bonus at 100% · 30 calendar days of vacation per year worked. · Partially employer-covered EPS (health insurance). · Working hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM; Saturday: 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM Salary: Starting at S/.1,500.00 per hour Workplace: On-site employment
