Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive Lathe Assistant to support part machining, assist the Lead Lathe Operator, and maintain workplace order. Key Highlights: 1. Strong emphasis on industrial safety and use of PPE At Geo Perú, we are looking for a proactive **Lathe Assistant** with excellent physical fitness to assist in part machining. **What will be your main challenge?** * Assist the Lead Lathe Operator in loading, unloading, mounting, and leveling long pipes on the machine. * Provide tools, lubricate/cool the part during threading, and assist with basic measurements. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area and clean the lathe at the end of the shift. * Strictly comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and follow safety instructions. **What qualifications are we looking for?** * Completed secondary education. Basic or incomplete technical studies in Production Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or related fields are preferred. * Minimum 6 months of experience as a workshop assistant, craftsman operator, metalworker, or similar position. * **Knowledge:** Basic identification of workshop tools and understanding of industrial safety principles. * **Skills:** Excellent physical condition, teamwork ability, quick comprehension of instructions, and strong commitment to safe work practices.
