HARD SKILLS 1\.1 Academic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related disciplines suitable for this position; additional academic credentials such as certificates, specializations, or equivalent qualifications in lifting or related fields are mandatory. 1\.2 Industry Background Must have professional experience exclusively in sectors such as lifting equipment, industrial lifting services, telescopic cranes, or similar fields. 1\.3 Functional Areas Must have professional experience exclusively in areas such as apprenticeship programs, lifting operations, or similar fields. 1\.4 Specializations Must hold specialized expertise exclusively in fields such as cranes, elevators, lifting equipment, lifting operations, elevator and escalator maintenance, or similar fields. 1\.5 Relevant Positions and Experience Duration Must have held an identical or similar position for at least 5 years. 1\.6 Other Expected Competencies Ensure all lifting operations are conducted under controlled conditions, minimizing risks to personnel, equipment, infrastructure, cargo, environment, and project operational continuity. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Be responsible for planning, assessing, controlling, and technically supervising cargo lifting maneuvers, ensuring they are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with internal procedures, applicable legal requirements, technical standards, and industry best practices. * Develop, review, and approve lifting plans for routine, non-routine, critical, or special maneuvers. * Determine the required crane type, lifting equipment, rigging gear, and accessories based on cargo weight, dimensions, center of gravity, operating radius, lifting height, and environmental conditions. * Perform load calculations, capacity assessments, equipment utilization percentages, safety factors, sling angles, and stress distribution analyses. * Evaluate ground conditions, access routes, leveling, stabilization, interferences, overhead power lines, nearby structures, and cargo movement paths. * Define the safe sequence of the maneuver, including equipment positioning, lifting points, cargo travel route, exclusion zone, and stop criteria. * Coordinate with supervisors, crane operators, riggers, signalmen, safety personnel, maintenance staff, production teams, and involved contractors. * Verify that lifting equipment, accessories, certifications, inspections, and permits are valid prior to commencing the maneuver. * Supervise field execution of critical or high-risk lifts, ensuring strict adherence to the approved plan. * Participate in hazard identification, risk assessment, and definition of operational controls before, during, and after lifting activities. * Suspend or halt the maneuver when unsafe conditions arise, deviations from the plan occur, communication failures happen, adverse weather conditions develop, or safety requirements are violated.
