Focus on continuous improvement and resource optimization We are seeking a Mechanical Technician responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment and machinery, ensuring their proper operation, availability, and operational efficiency. This position requires solid technical knowledge, diagnostic ability, and commitment to industrial safety standards. **Requirements:** * Technical degree in Maintenance Mechanics, Production Mechanics, Machinery and Tools, or related fields. (Mandatory) * Minimum 3 years of experience performing similar duties in industrial or manufacturing companies. * Knowledge of general mechanics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and interpretation of mechanical drawings. * Knowledge of industrial electricity * Ability to prepare clear and accurate technical reports. * Focus on continuous improvement and resource optimization. * Willingness to work onsite in Comas. * Residence in nearby districts is desirable. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform disassembly, inspection, adjustment, installation, and maintenance of motors, machines, and mechanical equipment. * Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure production continuity. * Inspect and test machinery to identify leaks, wear, defects, or abnormal conditions. * Participate in the installation and commissioning of industrial machinery and fixed equipment. * Report failures and propose improvement actions to optimize equipment performance. * Prepare and record daily incident and maintenance reports performed at the plant. * Execute and document the daily checklist for critical equipment. **Personal Competencies:** * Punctuality and commitment. * Proactivity and results orientation. * Ability to analyze and solve technical problems. * Effective communication and teamwork. * Flexibility and willingness to adapt to various operational requirements. **We Offer:** * Formal employment under the General Regime from day one * Current statutory benefits * Safe and dynamic work environment Employment Type: Full-time Salary: S/.1,800.00 - S/.2,300.00 per month Application Question(s): * Have you previously worked in a foundry or metalworking company?
