A prominent company specializing in the manufacturing, repair, and maintenance of fluid power components is seeking top talent for the position of **Hydraulic Cylinder Mechanical Technician**. **Job Objective**: Perform diagnosis, disassembly, evaluation, repair, minor machining, reassembly, and pressure testing on single-acting and double-acting, telescopic, and industrial/mobile hydraulic cylinders. **Main Responsibilities** * Disassembly, dimensional inspection, and failure evaluation of cylinder barrels, rods, pistons, and end caps. * Replacement and assembly of sealing systems (piston seals, scrapers, o\-rings, wear bands). * Honing of barrels, polishing of rods, and adjustment of mechanical tolerances. * Hydrostatic testing on test benches to verify internal/external leakage and working pressure. * Preparation of technical reports detailing component condition and root cause of failures. **Requirements** * **Education**: Graduate Technician in Maintenance Mechanics, Heavy Machinery, Mechatronics, or related fields. * **Experience**: Minimum 2 years in similar roles handling hydraulic components. * **Technical Knowledge**: * Use of precision measuring instruments (inside/outside micrometers, dial indicators, vernier calipers). * Interpretation of hydraulic and mechanical drawings. * Basic knowledge of lathe/milling machine operation and oxyacetylene/SMAW welding is desirable. * **Competencies**: Attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to industrial safety standards. **Benefits** * Direct payroll registration with all statutory benefits. * Market-competitive remuneration \+ overtime pay. * Continuous training in fluid power systems. * Personal protective equipment (PPE) and supplementary occupational risk insurance (SCTR).
