Position Summary: Ensure implementation of the Institutional Curriculum Plan and apply pedagogical and didactic processes while upholding the school's values and guidelines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Carry out technical-pedagogical work in the classroom and supervise teaching materials. 2. Conduct formative assessment of students and inform parents. 3. Promote critical thinking and leadership in student debates. **POSITION OBJECTIVE:** Ensure implementation of the Institutional Curriculum Plan within the framework of the National Basic Regular Education Curriculum, through pedagogical and didactic processes, applying axiology, the pedagogical approach, guidelines, policies, and values of the school. **MAIN FUNCTIONS:** 1\. Carry out technical\-pedagogical work within the classroom. 2\. Know and enforce the school's Internal Regulations, as well as protocols and directives issued by the school. 3\. Submit, according to the established schedule, the Curriculum Planning for the corresponding grade or subject area to the Age, Grade, or Subject Area Advisor Teacher. 4\. Conduct formative assessment of assigned students and timely inform parents; keep assessments updated in the SIAGIE system and the school's platform. 5\. Supervise management of teaching materials and classroom space. 6\. Ensure maintenance and order of educational resources and materials, furniture, and infrastructure. 7\. Attend to and ensure student safety and health both inside and outside the classroom. 8\. Attend to students, ensuring their safety and well-being during their time at the school. 9\. Identify potential issues affecting students' holistic development and refer them to the appropriate department, after reporting to the Level Coordination. 10\. Schedule personal interviews with parents in advance, by mutual agreement on date and time. 11\. Collaborate and coordinate with the advisor teacher on documents related to curriculum planning. 12\. Perform other duties inherent to the position and any additional tasks assigned by superiors. **REQUIREMENTS** ● Bachelor's degree in Education or Engineering. ● Three years of teaching experience. Competencies ● Mastery of the competency-based approach of the National Curriculum (competencies, capacities, standards, performance indicators, and transversal approaches). ● Mastery of meaningful learning and understanding of student characteristics related to learning (cognitive and socio-emotional development). ● Mastery of the Active Citizenship Approach. ● Mastery of strategies to promote critical thinking on relevant social issues. ● Didactic knowledge to foster construction of historical interpretations, responsible management of space and environment, and responsible management of economic resources. ● Knowledge of student debate models for implementing extracurricular workshops. ● Ability to lead and organize inter-school debate teams. ● Knowledge of ICT use for learning. ● Knowledge of strategies for addressing diversity and inclusion. ● Group management skills. ● Proficiency in office software.
