POSITION: MECHATRONICS TECHNICIAN **Company:** Expertec **Department:** Operations / Electromechanical Maintenance **Work Mode:** On-site and field work Job Description At Expertec, we are seeking a **Mechatronics Technician** responsible for performing installation, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair activities on equipment and systems integrating mechanical, electrical, electronic, and automation components. This position requires a responsible, analytical, and problem-solving-oriented individual capable of working both in workshops and in the field, following instructions from the assigned engineer or supervisor, and adhering to the company’s established technical and safety procedures. Main Responsibilities * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical equipment. * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and control-related faults. * Support the installation and commissioning of machines and equipment. * Perform electrical connections and verify the operation of sensors, motors, and actuators. * Support the inspection of electrical panels and control systems. * Conduct operational tests after repairs or maintenance. * Interpret electrical, mechanical, and basic control diagrams. * Perform measurements using multimeters, clamp meters, and other instruments. * Support industrial automation tasks and basic PLC programming. * Prepare maintenance reports, fault records, and activity summaries. * Monitor proper use of tools, equipment, and materials. * Promptly report defects, required spare parts, or identified risks. Requirements * Graduate or certified technician in Industrial Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Industrial Electronics, or related fields. * Knowledge of electricity, electronics, mechanics, and automation. * Experience in maintenance or repair of industrial equipment. * Ability to interpret technical drawings and diagrams. * Proficiency with electrical measurement instruments. * Minimum 1 year of experience. * Availability to work in workshops, construction sites, or field locations. * Willingness to travel according to assigned projects. * Driver's license A1 preferred (desirable). * Responsibility, punctuality, and ability to work in a team. Desired Knowledge * Basic PLC programming. * Familiarity with sensors, actuators, electric motors, and frequency inverters. * Maintenance of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. * Reading of electrical and mechanical drawings. * Knowledge of electrical panels and control systems. * Experience in industrial, electromechanical, or maintenance companies. * Basic knowledge of industrial safety and high-risk operations.
