**Job Summary**
We are seeking a **National Cargo Coordinator**, with experience in shipment and distribution management.
The position involves: Receiving cargo at our warehouse; receiving customer shipping documents; preparing transportation manifests; modularizing, packaging, labeling, and assigning route sheets to assigned drivers for distribution across various strategic partners in Lima. Coordinating with provincial commission agents regarding cargo receipt, delivery to designated destinations, tracking agents to ensure proper delivery and signing of receipt documentation, daily follow-up on unsigned documents for cargo validation, and coordinating with agents to collect signed documents and return them to Lima.
Visiting the agency to collect signed documentation sent by the commission agent, reviewing it, entering it into the database, and forwarding it for settlement.
If any discrepancies arise, coordinating documentation rectification.
**Responsibilities**
● Serve as the primary point of contact among clients, the company, commission agents, and the settlement department.
● Understand existing internal structures and established processes for effective internal management.
● Coordinate with operational departments (warehouse, transportation, commission agents, settlement) to comply with established procedures.
● Monitor and ensure correct cargo receipt, dispatch, and delivery.
● Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes.
● Optimize delivery routes and timelines.
● Track and report on shipment status and cargo receipt.
**Requirements**
● Technical or incomplete university degree in administration or related fields.
● Minimum 6 months of experience in similar positions.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Ability to work in an organized, planned, and proactive manner.
