Comply strictly with hygiene and food safety protocols The **purpose** of this position is to prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established procedures, ensuring all guests receive the highest quality food while exceeding their expectations. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1. Work efficiently and quickly to expedite food production. 2. Check and ensure raw materials meet required quality standards. 3. Prepare and cook all menu items according to established recipes and preparation methods, and in accordance with guests' special requirements. 4. Strictly follow food handling, safety, and sanitation protocols during food preparation, cooking, storage, and/or cleaning. 5. Support daily production by ensuring the production line is adequately supplied, and promptly notifying supervisors and shift managers when additional raw materials are needed. 6. Store and rotate food products in accordance with established procedures, using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method and performing proper product labeling procedures. 7. Accurately perform opening and closing duties within designated timeframes. 8. Continuously clean the griddle and maintain a neat, clean, well-stocked, and organized kitchen area. 9. Demonstrate workplace safety and hygiene habits, including frequent handwashing, and wearing hairnets, masks, gloves, and other required work equipment as mandated by the company. 10. Immediately report any equipment malfunction or operational issues, all accidents, and unsafe conditions to the shift manager. 12. Perform kitchen setup and cleaning tasks in accordance with the shift manager’s schedule and the standards defined in company policies. 13. Assist other restaurant staff as needed—both in the dining area and in the restaurant’s food preparation zone—as directed by the shift manager. 14. Fulfill formal job requirements, particularly compliance with the restaurant’s Uniform and Personal Appearance Policy, and full adherence to scheduled shifts—including accurate recording of arrival and departure times per company procedures. **Education:** * Technical studies in Gastronomy or Culinary Arts (preferred). **Experience:** * Minimum 1 year of experience as a cook or kitchen assistant. * Experience in restaurants, catering, hotels, or food production facilities. **Position Conditions:** * Work Mode: On-site * Schedule: Rotating or fixed shifts (based on operational needs) * Salary: Base salary of S/ 1,130 \+ consumption surcharge (RC). Total monthly compensation is approximately S/ 1200 to S/ 1800, negotiable based on profile and experience.
