**Date:** Dec 13, 2025 **Location:** 14 – LIMA, PE **Company:** Buenaventura At Buenaventura, we are seeking a **Planning Engineer – Mining Unit**: **Key Responsibilities:** * Conduct short-term reserve estimation, mine design, and mining sequencing. * Develop short- and medium-term progress and production plans. * Report on adherence, compliance, and mining reconciliation. * Design auxiliary infrastructure, including ventilation, power, drainage, and pumping systems. * Oversee and monitor mining projects across exploration, development, preparation, and exploitation phases. * Perform drill design using the Ugdb module of Deswik. * Manage KPIs and supervise shift assignments. **Professional Profile:** * Degree in Mining Engineering. * Minimum 4 years’ experience in underground planning (including 1 year as shift supervisor). * Knowledge of reserve estimation and mechanized underground mining. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and mining software Deswik Cad, IS, SO. * Cost estimation and equipment fleet management. * Intermediate English language proficiency. * Class A2A driver’s license and mine driving experience. * Willingness to work at the Mining Unit. ***IMPORTANT!*** ***Buenaventura does not request any payments to participate in its recruitment processes.
