Opportunity for growth in large-scale projects. **Job Posting: Quality Engineer – Earthwork Projects** We are a company specializing in earthworks and civil engineering projects, currently seeking a **Quality Engineer** to join our team on active projects. **Position Profile:** We seek a professional responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards in the field, controlling construction processes related to excavations, backfilling, grading, and soil compaction, thereby guaranteeing that work is executed in accordance with technical specifications and current regulations. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree or graduate in Civil Engineering or related fields. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in similar positions on earthwork projects. * Knowledge of soil quality control: Proctor tests (standard and modified), in-situ density (sand cone and/or nuclear densometer), CBR, gradation, Atterberg limits, among others. * Familiarity with technical specifications and applicable Peruvian and/or international standards. * Experience managing quality documentation (protocols, forms, dossiers, records). * Intermediate-level Excel proficiency (tables, reports) and AutoCAD (preferred). * Ability to work on-site and under pressure. * Willingness to work in provinces (as required by project). **Main Responsibilities:** * Implement and supervise adherence to the Quality Plan on site. * Verify proper execution of earthwork activities (excavation, backfilling, grading, shaping, and compaction). * Monitor and record field and laboratory test results. * Coordinate with soil laboratories for scheduling and validation of tests. * Prepare daily and weekly quality reports and client/supervision reports. * Manage release protocols for work items and the project’s quality dossier. * Coordinate with site supervisors, surveying, and production teams to ensure specification compliance. * Identify deviations and propose corrective actions on site. **Competencies:** * Organization and systematic information management. * Proactivity and sound technical judgment. * Effective communication with site teams and supervision. * Results-oriented mindset and commitment to deadlines. **We Offer:** * Formal employment registration or mutually agreed arrangement. * Market-competitive remuneration commensurate with experience. * Opportunity for growth in large-scale projects. * Positive working environment.
