Our CQA team is expanding, and we are currently recruiting a **Soil Laboratory Technician**.
**About the Role**
* Perform quality control tests in the field and laboratory: in-situ density (nuclear method and sand cone), moisture content, Proctor, particle size distribution, Atterberg limits, among others.
* Prepare, label, and record samples according to established protocols, ensuring traceability.
* Verify calibration and operational status of equipment (nuclear densometer, balances, ovens, molds, etc.).
* Comply with sampling, testing, and safety procedures as per project specifications and international standards.
* Provide technical support to the CQA Supervisor in material evaluation and approval of construction layers.
* Approve laboratory and field test results, verifying their compliance with applicable regulations and project standards, in accordance with drawings and Technical Specifications.
* Adhere to and enforce safety procedures and standards throughout the service.
**About You**
* Technical qualification in laboratory and concrete disciplines.
* Experience in basic laboratory tests, including particle size distribution, moisture content (MC%), Atterberg limits, and soil density tests.
* Experience preparing reports and technical documentation for containment dams and leach pads (PADs).
* More than 5 years of experience in the mining sector (mandatory).
* Preferably residing in Cajamarca.
