Job Summary: We are seeking an SSOMA Engineer to supervise field operations, control risks, and ensure safety in the mining or industrial sector. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead risk supervision and control in mining/industrial environments. 2. Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health (OSH) legal regulations. 3. Manage documentation and training related to safety and environmental protection. Professional Profile We are looking for an SSOMA Engineer (mining, industrial, mechanical, or related fields), preferably registered with the professional association and duly licensed. Minimum 3 years of experience in field supervision, risk control, and safety within the mining or industrial sector is required. Knowledge: * **Specialization:** Training or postgraduate studies in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), with a minimum duration of **120 hours** (mandatory requirement). * In-depth knowledge of current legal regulations (Law No. 29783, Supreme Decree No. 024\-2016\-EM and its amendments). * Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. Responsibilities: * Develop safety and environmental documentation. * Monitor compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS). * Advise management and department heads on matters related to safety, occupational health, and risk prevention. * Develop, update, and control safety procedures, standards, work instructions, and other safety-related documentation. * Monitor compliance with applicable OSH legal requirements. * Monitor safety management indicators, prepare reports, and present results to department heads. * Investigate incidents, accidents, and substandard conditions, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions. * Manage training and instruction programs for workers, supervisors, and contractors. * Perform other duties within the safety department.
