Job Summary: We are seeking a Civil Engineer to lead the structural design of foundations and soil-structure interaction systems, ensuring safety and constructability. Key Highlights: 1. Our multidisciplinary team operates at the intersection of geotechnical and structural engineering, delivering safe, efficient, and site-specific solutions tailored to each soil and structural condition. **Job Objective** To execute and lead the structural design of foundations and soil-structure interaction systems, preparing required calculations, technical reports, and detailed drawings to ensure project safety and constructability, strictly complying with the National Building Regulation (RNE) and applicable standards. **Main Responsibilities** Design and calculate shallow and deep foundation systems: footings, raft foundations, mat slabs, micropiles, and piles. Develop and analyze soil-structure interaction diagrams, integrating geotechnical parameters obtained from soil mechanics studies. Model and analyze structures using specialized software (SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, among others). Prepare detailed calculation reports in accordance with current technical standards. Develop reinforcement detail drawings in AutoCAD for construction and field supervision purposes. Coordinate with the geotechnical team to ensure correct interpretation and integration of soil investigation data into structural design. Review and reconcile engineering drawings across different project disciplines. Prepare technical specifications, quantity take-offs, and specialty budgets. **Candidate Requirements** Education: Licensed and registered Civil Engineer (Mandatory). Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience in foundation design (footings, rafts, mat slabs). Experience in micropile and pile design is considered a plus (not mandatory). Software: Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, and SAFE; working knowledge of AutoCAD for preparation of construction detail drawings. Technical Knowledge: Soil-structure interaction, RNE standards (E.050, E.060), and applicable international codes.
