Position Summary: We are seeking a Welding Technician to perform fabrication, assembly, repair, and maintenance tasks on metallic structures and industrial components. Key Highlights: 1. Application of quality criteria to weld beads WELDING TECHNICIAN FOR INDUSTRIAL AND METAL-MECHANICAL PROJECTS 1. Position Title: **Welding Technician – Project** 2. Service Modality: Independent service under the **Receipt for Professional Services (RHE)** modality. 3. Service Objective: To execute fabrication, assembly, repair, and maintenance tasks on metallic structures and industrial components, applying technical welding procedures, quality standards, and safety controls established by Expertec Perú and project requirements. 4. Required Education: * Technician graduate or trained in Industrial Welding, Production Mechanics, Metallic Construction, or related fields. * Certification or training in welding processes (desirable). * Training in Occupational Safety and Health. 5. Required Experience: * Minimum of **02 years performing industrial or metal-mechanical welding work**. * Experience in industrial projects, construction, maintenance, or assembly of metallic structures. * Experience with welding processes: * SMAW (shielded metal arc welding). * MIG/MAG (desirable). * Cutting and preparation of metallic materials. * Assembly and erection of structures. 6. Technical Knowledge: * Basic interpretation of mechanical drawings and construction details. * Operation of electric welding equipment. * Joint preparation, beveling, and surface cleaning. * Use of hand and power tools. * Fabrication and repair of metallic structures. * Application of basic quality criteria to weld beads. * Proper use of measuring instruments (tape measure, square, level, calipers). 7. Main Responsibilities: * Perform welding tasks according to project technical specifications. * Carry out fabrication, repair, and assembly of metallic components. * Prepare materials prior to the welding process. * Verify alignment, leveling, and finish of completed work. * Comply with safety procedures, work permits, and operational controls. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. * Report unsafe conditions, deviations, or material requirements. * Care for assigned tools, equipment, and materials. Salary: S/.2,000.00 \- S/.2,500.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
