SSOMA Engineer – Licensed and Registered Professional, Mining Site

Job Summary: Supervise safety across various mining sites by planning, executing, and controlling SSOMA activities to ensure incident prevention. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the planning and execution of SSOMA activities at mining sites 2. Implement and maintain occupational safety and health management systems 3. Develop and execute improvement projects in safety and environmental management Supervise safety-related work at different mining sites. Requirements: **Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields. \- REGISTRATION WITH THE PROFESSIONAL COUNCIL IS MANDATORY** Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health. 3 years of experience at a mining site as SSOMA Manager, HSE Engineer, or SSOMA Supervisor. 1\. Plan SSOMA activities in accordance with established objectives, policies, and performance indicators. 2\. Conduct safety controls and inspections within the organization and implement corrective actions according to established standards under safety, workplace environment, and environmental management programs. 3\. Implement the Occupational Safety and Health Management System and the Occupational Safety and Health Law\-**Knowledge of ISO9001 / SGS Audits.** 4\. Maintain up-to-date accident statistics and investigations, and execute corrective actions to reduce and improve defined indicators. 5\. Serve as the direct point of contact for commitments recorded in client meetings, providing required information to the client. 6\. Prepare and submit reports to General Management on the organization’s Quality Management results, enabling necessary actions for effective operation. 7\. Develop and execute projects, plans, or programs aimed at improving safety conditions, workplace environment, and environmental management within the organization, including staff training. 8\. Ensure proper implementation of an occupational safety and health management culture and system to guarantee incident and accident prevention. 9\. Prepare IPERCs and Risk Mapping, or any other tasks assigned by immediate supervisors related to this specialty. **10\.\- Willingness to travel.** 11\.\- Driver’s license, minimum class A1, preferred. 12\.\- Attach Certijoven or Certiadulto. Other duties delegated by the immediate supervisor. **Preferably reside in areas adjacent to Surco.** Employment Type: Full-time Salary: S/.3,500.00 \- S/.4,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
