High percentage of fieldwork **Job Scope** ConeTec is a global leader in specialized site investigations for high-end projects and specializes in underground soil testing in hard-to-access environments. The HSE Supervisor plays a vital role in ConeTec’s operations by monitoring safety, environmental, and health performance, and by developing new programs to ensure continuous improvement of the integrated management system across the company. In particular, the role involves a high percentage of fieldwork, and a certain percentage of time will be dedicated to providing administrative support to the HSE Manager and Safety Advisor. **General Job Objectives** 1. Fieldwork to supervise drilling and geotechnical testing 2. Update and maintain ConeTec’s HSE records to support monitoring of HSE programs and initiatives. 3. Act as the liaison between HSE and Operations departments regarding all aspects of HSE administration. **Functions, Responsibilities, and Expectations** Detailed responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Manage all HSE training records; organize and maintain personnel HSE files (including: site IDs, certificates, training checklists, etc.); enter data, update the tracking spreadsheet, and identify upcoming expiration gaps to avoid project scheduling issues. * Schedule and organize training courses for staff throughout the year, including site inductions, certifications, and company-related training. * Assist in developing ConeTec HSE orientation videos. * Support HR in delivering the HSE component of orientation and onboarding for new employees. * Assist in drafting, tracking, and presenting inspections, near-misses, incidents, and other reports. * Collect, archive, and maintain HSE documentation and databases, including: IPERC, AST, safety packages, client-requested documents, formal and informal inspections, and other documentation required by Operations and Projects departments. * Assist in monitoring ConeTec’s HSE program; review performance, tracking, trends, and statistics, and help prepare reports as needed. * Conduct fieldwork when required, depending on client requirements. * Serve as liaison with the HSE Manager, HSE Advisor, Operations Managers, and staff. * Promote a high standard of HSE culture across ConeTec to ensure all safety objectives are achieved. **Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience** **Education and Experience:** * Bachelor’s degree and professional registration in Industrial Engineering, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields. * 2–3 years of experience in management with an emphasis on HSE (preferred). * 2–3 years of experience supervising drilling and geotechnical testing (REQUIRED) * Training in Integrated Management Systems for Safety, Environment, Health, and Quality. **Skills and Knowledge** * Organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently and maintain a high degree of accuracy. * Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, identify problems, and propose potential solutions. * Initiative to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. **Benefits** ConeTec offers various health, wellness, and safety programs to its employees. * Complementary Occupational Risk Insurance (SCTR) and Life Insurance * Health Program with Pacífico Salud – EPS * A supportive team that fosters your professional growth and development * A dynamic and inclusive culture ConeTec is an equal opportunity employer.
