Our **VAS** team is seeking a **Level 2 Mechanical Technician** to join Inchcape **Peru.** The purpose of this role is to execute engine/transmission mechanical diagnostics and repairs, automotive electrical/electronic diagnostics and repairs, and recall or warranty work on vehicles entering the workshop — all performed with quality and in accordance with brand procedures. **What You’ll Do** * Perform diagnostics and repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension, and steering systems, as well as electrical-electronic diagnostics, in accordance with the brand’s technical manual. * Inspect vehicles to transparently and promptly relay information to the Supervisor or Advisor. * Provide appropriate documentation to support warranty and recall claim management in line with importer policies. * Meet standard diagnostic time requirements. * Conduct requested diagnostics and propose solutions in alignment with the brand’s established diagnostic tree. * Upload inspection evidence to the company’s designated technological tools, following current procedures. * Maintain tools and workspaces in an orderly and clean condition. * Comply with the use of PPE and safety instructions issued by the workshop and the brand. * Attend required training sessions and meetings organized by the workshop and the brand. **About You** To succeed in this role, you must have: * Completed technical education in Automotive Mechanics, Automotive Mechatronics, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years’ experience diagnosing and repairing engines and transmissions at authorized brand dealerships. * Experience interpreting service manuals and using specialized tools (e.g., scanners, diagnostic equipment). * Knowledge and ability to perform automotive electrical diagnostics. * Valid A1 driver’s license. **What We Offer** At Inchcape, we are building the future of mobility — and we invite you to build it with us.
