Transportes los Arrieros S.A.C. seeks an Operations Assistant to support planning, coordination, and supervision of cargo transportation operations, ensuring on-time delivery, cargo safety, and logistical process efficiency. **Responsibilities:** * **Transportation Coordination:** Oversee transportation route management and coordination, ensuring proper vehicle and driver assignment for cargo movement. * **Cargo Shipment Tracking:** Coordinate with the GPS department regarding unit status and liaise with carriers to ensure timely cargo delivery. * **Loading/Unloading Management:** Coordinate and supervise cargo loading and unloading processes, ensuring they are conducted safely and efficiently. * **Incident Management:** Identify and resolve potential incidents or delays in transportation operations—such as delays or cargo-related issues—and implement solutions. * **Route Optimization:** Collaborate on continuous improvement of transportation routes, aiming to optimize time and cost without compromising cargo safety. * **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure all transportation operations comply with applicable legal regulations and safety standards. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Recent graduate in Logistics, Transportation Engineering, or related fields. * **Experience:** Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics operations, preferably in the cargo transportation sector. · **Knowledge:** * Proficiency in computer tools (Excel) * Basic knowledge of transportation and safety regulations. * Familiarity with route planning and transportation optimization. · **Skills:** * Organization and attention to detail. * Ability to work under pressure and in dynamic environments. * Effective communication with suppliers and internal teams. * Problem-solving ability and rapid identification of incidents. **Working Conditions:** * **Location:** Av.
