Job Summary: We are seeking an Optometrist to provide comprehensive optometric care, including visual health assessment, eye examinations, and support for ophthalmologic diagnosis and treatment. At Global Laser Eye Clinic, we seek a professional capable of delivering comprehensive optometric care to patients through visual health assessment, refraction determination, optical aid fitting, and specialized examinations—contributing to ophthalmologic diagnosis and treatment with high standards of quality, safety, and warmth. Key Responsibilities: * Perform complete optometric evaluations according to clinic protocols. * Conduct refraction examinations. * Determine corrective lens prescriptions as appropriate. * Administer visual acuity tests and other specialty-specific assessments. * Perform supplementary examinations per medical instruction or institutional protocol. * Support ophthalmologists in patient evaluation and follow-up. * Advise patients on the use, care, and adaptation of ophthalmic lenses and contact lenses. * Accurately record clinical information in the patient’s medical record. * Verify proper functioning and calibration of optometric equipment. * Promptly report any biomedical equipment malfunctions. * Comply with biosafety, patient safety, and infection control standards. * Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked examination room. * Ensure confidentiality of patient information. * Participate in visual health campaigns, medical outreach events, and institutional activities when required. * Provide courteous, ethical, and patient satisfaction–oriented care. * Adhere to clinic internal procedures, policies, and regulations. * Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. Academic Qualifications: * Licensed Optometrist and/or Medical Technologist. * Valid professional license. Experience: * Minimum 1 year of experience in ophthalmologic clinics. * Experience in adult and pediatric patient care. Knowledge: * Refraction. * Clinical optometry. * Contact lens fitting. * Binocular vision assessment. * Operation of optometric and ophthalmologic equipment (e.g., autorefractor, lensometer, non-contact tonometer, digital eye charts, etc.). * Management of physical and electronic medical records. * Biosafety and patient safety standards. * Basic Microsoft Office. Position Conditions: * Work schedule according to clinic scheduling. * On-site work. * Willingness to travel **(all details will be provided during the pre-interview)**. * Mandatory use of institutional uniform and personal protective equipment.
