




Job Summary: This role is responsible for organizing, scheduling, and performing sample testing; validating chemical results; preparing productivity reports; and proposing new methodologies in an inspection and certification service laboratory. In Peru, we operate across most economic sectors—including mining, agriculture, and fishing—and are integral to the value chain of their products and services. **Job Description** Organize and schedule service requests, analysis priorities, and workload distribution. Perform sample testing in accordance with defined procedures and protocols. Review, validate, and report interim and final chemical test results to the direct supervisor. Prepare productivity reports and service delivery reports for internal customers as applicable. Coordinate requisition and replenishment of orders based on departmental needs in consultation with the direct supervisor. Propose and/or implement new laboratory methodologies based on standards or technical information review, coordinated with the direct supervisor and/or relevant department. Guide or mentor staff on applied testing methods. Participate in quality and safety activities as required. Perform other similar duties as assigned by the Employer or hierarchical superior based on operational needs and requirements. **Requirements** Bachelor’s degree or graduate in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. Proficiency in Analytical Techniques: Inorganic, Metallurgical, Environmental. Proficiency in operating AAS, Leco, and/or similar equipment. Knowledge of volumetric and instrumental techniques for mineral samples. Desirable: Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Basic understanding of ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 standards. Intermediate or advanced office software skills. Basic English. 2 years in a Senior Analyst position or performing similar activities; 3 years total experience.
