Job Summary:
Efficiently supervise teams and personnel to fulfill the client contract by organizing daily work and ensuring proper blast execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and develop a blasting operations team.
2. Ensure safe planning and execution of blasts.
3. Collaborate in optimizing blasting and replenishment processes.
Role Objective:
Supervise resources (equipment and personnel) efficiently to fulfill the contract established with the client.
Main Responsibilities:
* Organize daily work for assigned personnel.
* Verify correct detonator programming and/or wiring.
* Verify availability of resources for operations or request them timely.
* Inspect blasting before and after execution.
* Ensure the work team has necessary tools to perform tasks.
* Collect information and generate reports regarding the blasting process.
* Conduct site inspections for blasting feasibility and safety analysis.
* Verify magazine square footage and its relationship with loaded shots.
* Collaborate with planning for factory truck replenishment.
* Ensure team meets performance targets and deadlines.
* Guide and correct personnel behavior.
* Ensure team performs well and members develop professionally.
* Ensure client needs are met.
* Coordinate blasting activities with the client and provide process reports.
* Support measurement, material transport, wiring, priming, loading, and stemming of blast holes.
Requirements:
* Licensed and registered Mining Engineer or related field.
* Minimum 4 years of experience in blasting processes.
* Class A2B driver's license
