Job Summary: We are seeking a technical pre-sales professional to serve as an interface, providing pre-sales support, designing architectures, and accelerating the adoption of data, analytics, and AI/GenAI solutions. Continuous training and relevant certifications. **Role Summary:** We are seeking a pre-sales professional who serves as the primary technical interface between TD SYNNEX, our partners, and customers. This role provides technical pre-sales support, conducts discovery, designs architectures, executes demos/POCs, and accelerates the adoption of data, analytics, and AI/GenAI solutions with sound data governance practices. You will work with market platforms and ecosystems (e.g., Data Fabric, Lakehouse, data warehousing, integration/ingestion, MLOps, and security), including, but not limited to, technologies such as IBM Data AI (watsonx, Db2\). **Key Responsibilities:** * Address and resolve technical and process-related pre-sales inquiries, escalating as appropriate. * Conduct technical discovery, define requirements, and translate them into solution designs and architectures. * Prepare and execute demonstrations, pilots, and POCs; document findings and recommendations. * Design "best-of-breed" solutions integrating data/AI software and TD SYNNEX services. * Develop estimates, TCO/ROI analyses, and responses to RFI/RFPs; contribute to closing strategy. * Transfer knowledge to customers, partners, and internal teams through workshops and enablement activities. * Communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences. * Stay current through continuous training and relevant certifications. * Ensure data security and governance practices in all deliverables. **Level Specifications:** * Proficiency in advanced data, analytics, and AI standards and techniques; judgment to address complex problems. * High autonomy in defining technical objectives and optimal paths to achieve them. * Ability to represent TD SYNNEX as the primary technical contact for customers and partners. * Direct impact on project and opportunity outcomes, timelines, and costs. **Requirements and Skills:** * Experience: 6–9 years with a university degree (or equivalent experience) in pre-sales, data/IA architecture, or technical consulting; or 4–7 years with a master’s degree. * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Data/IA, or related field (or equivalent technical education). * Essential Technical Skills: * Data Architectures: Data Fabric, Lakehouse, data warehousing, ETL/ELT integration, data quality, and cataloging. * Platforms and Languages: SQL and at least one scripting language (e.g., Python); relational and NoSQL databases. * AI/GenAI: fundamentals of models, RAG, evaluation, security, and ethical considerations; familiarity with MLOps. * Data Governance and Security: metadata, lineage, access control, compliance, and risk management. * Cloud and Containers: experience with one or more clouds (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes/OpenShift. * Integration: APIs/REST and connectivity with ecosystem sources and tools. * Consulting Skills: * Discovery, requirement mapping, technical storytelling, and business case development. * Outstanding written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple opportunities in parallel. * Languages: Fluent Spanish; professional English for documentation, demonstrations, and training. * Willingness to travel as required (up to ~25%). **Desirable Certifications:** * Certifications in data/IA and cloud platforms (e.g., IBM Data AI – watsonx/Db2, AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake). * Certifications in data governance, security, or privacy. **Success Indicators (Reference):** * Conversion of POCs/pilots into closed opportunities. * Customer and partner satisfaction (NPS/CSAT). * Response time and technical quality of proposals and designs. * Enablement activities and adoption of data/IA solutions. **At TD SYNNEX, our values guide everything we do:** Together, We Own It, We Dare to Go, We Grow and Win, and above all, We Do the Right Thing.
