Job Summary: Coordinate and control ventilation projects, monitor thermo-environmental parameters, and ensure quality in the implementation of ventilation standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages ventilation projects and controls thermo-environmental parameters. 2. Ensures quality in the implementation of mining ventilation standards. 3. Updates ventilation models and reports daily measurements. Full Time On-site Planning We are seeking a VENTILATION TECHNICIAN for our Yauricocha Mining Unit. Requirements * Technical degree in mining operations and/or related fields * 3 years of experience in the role within the mining sector * VentSIM, Deswik CAD, AutoCAD Responsibilities * Coordinates and oversees the execution of planned ventilation projects. * Monitors thermo-environmental parameters to ensure compliance with occupational exposure limits (OELs). * Verifies quality in the implementation of ventilation standards issued by the department (e.g., duct placement, stoppings, doors, slabs, etc.). * Updates short-term ventilation models using VENTSIM software. * Records and submits daily monitoring reports on gas concentrations and air velocity in mine workings. * Conducts air velocity and airflow measurements at development and production faces of scheduled mine workings to ensure compliance with Supreme Decree No. 023-2017-EM. * Trains operational personnel on short-term ventilation circuits. * Inspects the condition of ventilation instrumentation (anemometers, hygrometers, gas detectors, etc.). * Performs other duties consistent with the position’s role, as assigned by the immediate supervisor. ### **Alpayana** #### **Mining** **Peru, Lima, Lima** We are Alpayana, a mining group committed to sustainable mining practices, positively contributing to our environment through every action we undertake.
