Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Surface Grinding Master to perform precision grinding on metal parts and ensure exact dimensions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate surface grinders and grind metal part surfaces. 2. Interpret mechanical drawings and perform basic machine maintenance. 3. Manufacture and restore mechanical parts, and perform fitting and calibration. We are looking for an **experienced Surface Grinding Master who lives near Chorrillos**. Precision grinding work on metal parts, ensuring exact dimensions and high-quality surface finishes. **Your responsibilities may include:** * Safely and efficiently operate surface grinding machines. * Grind flat surfaces of metal parts according to drawings and technical specifications. * Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators. * Assemble and align parts on the machine. * Select and replace abrasive wheels based on material type and job requirements. * Perform precision finishing and surface correction. * Interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications. * Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of surface grinding machines. * Identify tool or equipment failures and wear. * Comply with industrial safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. * Control quality of finished work. * Coordinate with production or maintenance teams to meet delivery deadlines. **Additional responsibilities may include:** * Manufacturing and restoration of mechanical parts. * Fitting and calibration of metal components. * Support in turning, milling, or welding tasks, depending on workshop needs.
