Position Summary: We are seeking a Legal Specialist in Technology (IT) Contracts for the banking sector, responsible for evaluating, negotiating, drafting, and advising on technology-related contracts. Key Highlights: 1. Lead negotiations of IT contracts with suppliers. 2. Provide legal advisory services for digital transformation projects. 3. Manage contractual compliance and dispute resolution. DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Legal Specialist in Technology (IT) Contracts to join a leading banking-sector company, with the following responsibilities: * Evaluate the legal and commercial viability of technology service agreements, analyzing their suitability, risks, and alignment with the bank's strategic objectives. * Lead negotiations of IT contracts (services, technology, and supplies) with suppliers, in coordination with business, technology, and procurement departments. * Review, draft, and update contract templates and clauses, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and banking-sector regulatory standards. * Provide internal legal advisory services regarding contractual and regulatory implications in digital transformation projects and acquisition of technology services. Monitor contractual compliance and manage dispute resolution or amendments (addenda) with suppliers during the term of contracts. * REQUIREMENTS * Law degree holder, licensed and registered with the Bar Association * Preferred: Postgraduate studies/Master’s degree in IT Law, Corporate Law, Business Law, or related fields * Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office (Intermediate Excel) * SPIJ (Peruvian Legal Information System) * Expertise in contracts, including services, technology, and supplies * Intermediate to Advanced English * Solid legal experience in information technology (IT) service contracting (flexible years of experience: 3 to 5 years in similar roles)
