Job Objective: We seek a technical or university-educated Accounting professional who is proactive, detail-oriented, and has prior experience, and who wishes to join our team at CONTAPERU to support the recording, analysis, and control of our clients' accounting operations. Profile Requirements Academic Qualifications: University graduate, bachelor's degree holder, or certified professional in Accounting. Experience: Minimum 3 years in similar roles (e.g., Accounting Assistant or Junior Accountant), preferably within accounting firms or service companies. Technical Knowledge: Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, financial formulas). Up-to-date knowledge of current tax regulations and PDT forms. Main Responsibilities: Timely recording of purchases, sales, and expenses in the accounting system. Bank reconciliations and management of accounts receivable/payable. Support in monthly tax settlements (IGV, Income Tax) and submission of electronic accounting books (PLE). Filing, organizing, and controlling physical and digital supporting documentation. Support in preparing accounting statements and management reports. Filing of Form 710. Valued Competencies Strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and professional ethics. Organizational skills, orderliness, and ability to work under pressure (month-end closing deadlines). Attention to detail and analytical capability.
