Job Summary: We are seeking a forward-thinking Innovation and Technology Intern to drive the digital transformation of the restaurant industry through AI and rapid prototyping. Key Highlights: 1. We seek an Innovation and Technology Intern with a forward-looking mindset to help us accelerate the digital transformation of the restaurant industry. In this role, you will use AI-powered programming agents (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to rapidly design and develop technological prototypes—from intelligent kitchen automation and order processing flows to predictive inventory systems and AI-driven personalized customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities** Accelerated Development with Artificial Intelligence * Design, develop, test, and deploy Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) using AI programming agents to significantly shorten the development cycle. * Leverage AI tools to boost productivity and experiment with novel technological solutions. Development of Intelligent Restaurant Systems * Build backend services in Python and develop data pipelines integrating hardware, POS systems, inventory databases, and customer-facing applications. * Design scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency and the dining experience. Database Management * Design, structure, and query relational and vector databases to manage real-time information, including: * Menus. * Order flow and speed. * Inventory and supply chain. * Customer preferences and behavior. Technology Research and Innovation * Evaluate emerging AI tools, Large Language Model (LLM) APIs, and Internet of Things (IoT) platforms. * Propose innovative solutions that revolutionize restaurant operations and customer experience. **Required Qualifications** * Strong proficiency in Python and adherence to sound software development practices. * Hands-on experience with AI-assisted programming tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar. * Solid database knowledge: * SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar). * NoSQL and/or Vector Databases. * Familiarity with: * REST APIs. * Webhooks. * Git and version control. * Strong curiosity about technological innovation and keen interest in areas such as: * FoodTech. * Hospitality technology. * Automation and autonomous systems. **What We Offer** * Direct involvement in developing the next generation of restaurant technology solutions and gastronomic experiences. * Hands-on experience building software using modern, AI-powered workflows—significantly accelerating development speed. * Mentorship from technology leaders specializing in the integration of AI, hardware, and technology for the hospitality industry. * Opportunity to work with emerging technologies and participate in high-impact, innovative projects.
