Cleaning and maintenance of equipment and materials The Scientific University of the South, part of the Educa_d Group, is currently seeking top talent to fill the position of Laboratory Technical Assistant for the Biology and Anatomy area. Details below: **Responsibilities**: \- Comply with and ensure adherence to current regulations and provisions applicable to laboratories. \- Support administrative activities, social outreach, university extension, and services provided by laboratories. \- Periodically support updating the physical inventory of equipment and supplies under one's responsibility. \- Support the laboratory head in monitoring maintenance plans and preparing infrastructure under one's responsibility. \- Report incidents occurring during internal laboratory management activities to the immediate supervisor and the General Laboratory Coordinator. \- Prepare reagents, culture media, and all materials requested by laboratory users, in coordination with the laboratory head. \- Perform cleaning and maintenance of equipment and materials under one's responsibility, as well as washing, sterilization, packaging, and storage of materials used in laboratories where services are rendered. \- Ensure rational use of materials and supplies strictly according to academic and administrative needs and demands. \- Verify that equipment and materials issued are returned in good condition; in case of damage or loss, record it on the appropriate form. \- Support verification of disposal of biological and chemical waste, following institutional protocols. \- Support training of new members joining the area. **Requirements**: \- Technical graduates in Clinical Laboratory, Pathological Anatomy, Biology, or related fields. \- Minimum 1 year of experience in the position. \- Availability to work on-site at the Lima Norte campus. \- Availability to work rotating shifts. **We Offer**: \- Formal employment with all statutory benefits. \- Benefits and educational discount club offering up to 50% off. \- A supportive work environment and professional development programs.
