Job Summary: We are seeking a Bus Fleet Mechanic to ensure the operational readiness and safety of our bus fleet through preventive and corrective maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on transport buses. 2. Diagnose and repair mechanical failures in key systems. 3. Maintain records of maintenance activities and spare parts usage. Our company is currently seeking a **Bus Fleet Mechanic** to join our maintenance team. The purpose of this position is to ensure the operational readiness and safety of our bus fleet by carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, thereby guaranteeing continuity of transportation operations. Main Responsibilities * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on passenger transport buses. * Diagnose and repair mechanical failures in diesel engines, transmission systems, braking systems, suspension, and steering systems. * Conduct periodic technical inspections to ensure proper operation of vehicles. * Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and other routine services. * Identify and promptly report potential malfunctions to prevent operational failures. * Maintain records of all maintenance performed and spare parts used. * Comply with company-established safety and maintenance procedures. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. Requirements * Certified Technician in Automotive Mechanics or related field. * Minimum of **2 years** of experience in bus and passenger transport vehicle maintenance. * Knowledge of diesel engines, pneumatic braking systems, suspension, steering, and transmission systems. * Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and equipment. * Availability to work on-site in Trujillo.
