POSITION: CIVIL ENGINEER **Company:** Expertec Perú S.A.C. **Department:** Engineering / Projects and Operations **Work Mode:** On-site and field work Job Description At Expertec Perú S.A.C., we are seeking a **Civil Engineer** responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling the execution of civil works related to industrial, electrical, and electromechanical projects. The professional must ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with drawings, technical specifications, schedules, budgets, quality standards, and established safety regulations. Additionally, the candidate must coordinate with engineers, technicians, suppliers, contractors, and operational staff to guarantee project objectives are met. Main Responsibilities * Plan, organize, and supervise the execution of civil works. * Control compliance with drawings, technical specifications, and construction procedures. * Prepare quantity take-offs, budgets, cost analyses, and material requirements. * Perform progress valuations, progress reports, and technical reports. * Supervise excavation, foundation, concrete, masonry, structural, and finishing works. * Coordinate civil works execution linked to electrical and electromechanical installations. * Monitor work progress against the established schedule. * Verify the quality of materials and executed works. * Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, technicians, and site personnel. * Identify on-site issues and propose timely technical solutions. * Review civil, structural, and installation drawings. * Prepare technical inquiries, protocols, and construction documentation. * Control appropriate use of materials, equipment, and resources. * Verify compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. * Participate in coordination meetings with clients and project managers. * Support preparation of technical files, quotations, and commercial proposals. * Maintain organized and up-to-date technical documentation for each project. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree, graduate, or licensed Civil Engineer. * Experience in supervision, execution, or control of civil construction works. * Knowledge of quantity take-offs, costs, budgets, and valuations. * Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel. * Class A1 driver’s license (desirable). * Availability to perform field work and visit projects. * Willingness to travel when required by the project. * Ability to coordinate and supervise operational staff. * Responsibility, organization, and goal-oriented mindset. Desired Knowledge * Proficiency in Microsoft Project, S10, or other cost and scheduling software. * Knowledge of construction processes and quality control. * Preparation of technical files. * Familiarity with the National Building Code (Reglamento Nacional de Edificaciones). * Knowledge of occupational health and safety and risk management. * Experience in industrial construction or electromechanical projects. * Understanding of valuations, change orders, deductions, and final account settlements.
